Orient Law Associates  (OLA) is a full service international law firm dedicated to providing high-quality legal services to our valued clients on a timely basis.

We have offices in Bangkok, Phuket and Songkhla, Thailand with affiliate offices around the world.  We have been operating in Thailand since 1991 known as, Phuket law firm , Samui law firm and our partners and associates have extensive knowledge of the region and are able to provide valuable assistance to clients across a wide range of legal areas.

Malisa Cairns, Partner

Pranee Sinkaew, Partner
Pranee has been a partner with Orient Law Associates since 2015. Private Companies Following is one of our recent cases evidencing our capabilities in acting for a private company: OLA assisted an international company with all legal aspects of a land deal, including corporate structure, contract negotiation, and transfer of property. The investor secured ownership of multiple individual plots of prime beachfront property, which allowed for the eventual establishment of a high-end resort project valued at over 800 million baht.
Private Individuals Following is one of our recent cases evidencing our capabilities in acting for a private company: OLA represented a private individual in a dispute with a local project management company. The client was seeking to enforce renewal rights as set out under a long-term lease agreement and at the same time to transfer the property. The court found in favor of our client and required the renewal rights be applied and the property transferred as required under the lease.
Public Companies Following is one of our recent cases evidencing our capabilities in acting for a public company: OLA represented a leading public company in the hospitality industry seeking to invest in Thailand. We acted as the company's "point of contact" with all government authorities. This involved establishing a comprehensive government relations strategy, establishing and cultivating relationships with officials, responding to government inquiries, and monitoring potential policy and regulatory developments. We worked with the client to create appropriate and effective solutions to the business and legal challenges faced.

We ensure that new attorneys to the firm receive the legal knowledge, practical skills and experience that will provide a solid foundation for their legal career. Our lawyers regularly undertake training both within Thailand and overseas. Many of our lawyers have completed master degrees from the US and Australia.
